The Green Tent is at the Mar Vista Farmers’ Market on the NW corner of Pacific and Grand View.

Venice Boulevard Great Street Changes – June 11

There are strong opinions – both pro and con – regarding the recent changes on the Great Street Mar Vista portion of Venice Blvd. The lane reconfiguration is a pilot project, implemented using temporary materials – paint and bollards – so it is cheap and easy to alter. It’s going to take some time to get used to! The city will gather data to evaluate it, and there may be some tweaks during the pilot period. Residents who notice any unintended consequences are encouraged to call Councilmember Bonin’s Mobility Deputy (and our Mar Vista neighbor) Jessie Holzer at jessie.holzer@lacity.org or 310-575-8461 to try to address them as quickly as possible. CD11 representatives are planning to be at the Mar Vista Farmers’ Market on Sunday collecting feedback and explaining the project.
